We’re pleased to announce our partnership with the non-profit organization Fabric of Life, based in Edmonds, Washington. We are donating 5% of the profits from the sales of our L’Afrique de L’Ouest card sets to Fabric of Life.
Fabric of Life offers skills training, health and nutrition, family planning, AIDs prevention and literacy skills to women around the world. These skills lead to developing micro-entrepreneurs who can generate sustainable income for themselves and their families.
Fabric of Life currently runs programs in Mali, Zimbabwe, Senegal, and Vietnam. Read about the stories and successes of the Mali program here.
Having spent time in West Africa, we fell in love with the people and their textiles. This organization seemed like the perfect partnership to give back to the people that inspired our cards in the first place.
