Joseph O. Holmes, a photographer we’ve been admiring lately, has created some wonderful series of photographs in the past couple of years. His most recent series, Workspace, is one which really scrapes at the tendrils of a person’s mental space; by way of their physical space. Although workspaces are not generally considered to be personal, these photos let us in and make us curious about the people who sit/stand before them. Check out more of Joseph’s work in this series here. Joseph is represented by Jen Bekman Gallery, here in New York and Wall Space in Seattle.
In homage to this fellow photographer and Brooklynite’s work, we shot a photo of our own desk (which has to be kept organized since it’s in the middle of our apartment!). As with many folks, it is but one part of our workspace.
