Even though we missed Camera Obscura’s free show in an old bank vault at the Brooklyn Flea, it was great meeting all the folks who stopped by our booth. Sun, dust, rain and all…. a special thank you to Kelly & Aaron who kept us company this year. They were representing Remedy Quarterly, their fantastic and superbly designed food, recipe and feeling good publication. If you haven’t already, be sure to start collecting these babies. Continuing with our ‘Contents Series’ notecards (which includes a Birthday Toolbox and a Feel Better Doctor’s Bag) is A Suitcase, just in time for those summer vacation plans. Wonderfully printed by our good friends at Pinball Publishing on 100% recycled paper with soy-based inks, A Suitcase has the travelling essentials for a getaway, complete with an unbreakable comb and cleaning paste for the teeth.
We made it through the National Stationery Show this year and what a whirlwind it was! Thanks to everyone who stopped by to visit us for some high fiving, hugging and handshaking action.

Perfect for drying your dishes and ceramics in or out of doors. New this summer, we produced our Amassed and Whales tea towels in an exclusive color way for Heath Ceramics. We’ve printed the whales and animals in a warm grey, this time on an oyster white linen for that summer feeling.
Lynn Russell is an acquaintance of ours… (whom we hope someday we can call friend), and fellow letterpress printer based in Corvallis, Oregon. She is the designer and printer behind Satsuma Press, and she is hosting a ‘Giveaway’ to raise some money. She asked us to be a part of it, and we gladly accepted.
Lynn’s son, Liam, was born with a neuromuscular disorder- Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) Type 2. A couple of weeks ago, she began a blog called We Love Liam, where she is able to write about her son, and offer some perspective on raising a child with SMA.
